Designer of the Moment: Marchesa

Marchesa is one of my all time favorite designers. The brand was established back in 2004 by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. Since then, it has rapidly grown. Now it's pretty much given that at least one celebrity will wear a Marchesa gown during award season. And why wouldn't they? The designs, textures, and fabrics of the dresses are breathtaking. Marchesa has even taken the wedding department by storm. You know a brand has to be pretty special when brides choose it over the typical Vera Wang or Alexander McQueen dress. In honor of the flawless fashion label, here's a look at some of my favorite Marchesa dresses.

Get That Look: Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars' new season premiered last night and boy was it intense! As the girls continued to be blackmailed via text message by their dead best friend, I couldn't help but notice how they're always so stylish. Despite being stalked and tortured, these high schoolers stay up to date on the latest fashion. Kudos ladies! Talk about taking multitasking to a whole new level. Each character's personality perfectly shines through in their clothes. So here's a little breakdown on how and where to get such fab looks...

Aria-
Ah, the hipster of the group. No one loves a feather earring more than Aria does. Aria usually wears bold prints and colors. She also loves beanies, tights, and extra large accessories. Start with a similar look: Dress, Cardigan, Shoes
Also see: Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Anthropologie, Free People

Hanna-
So chic! Hanna is always very well put together. She keeps it modern and classic. Start with a similar look: Dress, Blazer, Shoes
Also see: Zara, New York & Company, French Connection, H&M, Express

Spencer-
Spencer Hastings is like a young Charlotte York. She keeps her style preppy, conservative, and classy. Start with a similar look: Shirt/Blazer/Pants, Shoes-Sandstone Colored Platform Heels
Also see: Banana Republic, J Crew, Longchamp, New York & Company, Ralph Lauren

Emily-
Emily is definitely not the most stylish character on the show. However, her low key look is great for cute and comfortable ensembles. She keeps her outfits simple and a little athletic. Start with a similar look: Shirt, Shorts, Sandals, Necklace
Also see: American Eagle, Aeropostale

Fashion Icon: Emma Watson

This summer Harry Potter may be coming to an end, but Emma Watson seems to be just getting started. In the striking new issue of Vogue, Emma reveals what's up next now that the franchise is over. The British actress certainly won't be taking a break from making movies anytime soon. She's already worked on two very buzz worthy films. So young yet so busy! What's not to love about Emma? She's adorable, down to earth, and a huge fashion icon. In anticipation for Emma's upcoming promo events, let's take a look back at some of her most memorable looks.

Fashion Review: MTV Movie Awards

Ah, the MTV Movie Awards!  Remember the days before Twilight won every popcorn statue? It feels like just yesterday that McGosling had that hot make out session when they won Best Kiss. Things are definitely less entertaining now a days.  Well, the winners might be a little ridiculous(it's MTV afterall-lower your expectations) but I can't resist watching an award show. So let's get down to the most important part, shall we? Red carpet time!

I was disappointed with this because she's looked so much cuter in the past. I definitely would have preferred to see her in a lighter color. The outfit is little too dark for a summer event. The shoes don't really match the dress, and what's up with the random gold pieces? If Lily had gone for lighter shoes, she could have at least livened up the outfit.

Stunning! She looked so classy and beautiful. This past year, her style has been phenomenal. I can't wait to see what she wears during promo time for the last Harry Potter film.

Reese looked so vibrant and cute! Her speech was pretty great too. It was nice to see a successful woman put certain attention seekers in their place.

This one surprised me a lot! I like that Kristen rocked her usual look, but dressed it up this time. The hard texture of the dress goes nicely with the feminine color. She might have ditched the heels for sneakers once she got inside, but at least she's making progress!

At first, I was little iffy with Emma's appearance. I wasn't a huge fan of the color. However, I kind of love it now. The outfit really compliments her gorgeous red locks(Thank God she dyed it back!). The tones of her look are different, but it works.

Unfortunately, Mila didn't walk the red carpet so there's only stage shots of her outfit. She kept it casual with a black top and jazzed it up with a bedazzled skirt. Even though it's simple, I liked it!

It's Emma again! The British actress was the only person to switch outfits for the after party. Boy am I glad she did! I loved the white Marchesa she wore earlier, but this Marchesa piece is much more fun. The color is breathtaking and the wild ruffles are gorgeous. Emma was easily the best dressed of the night!
