2016 Golden Globes Best Dressed

Unpopular opinion? Everyone had something to say about Kate Hudson's cutout Michael Kors dress. Personally, I loved it. The look was refreshingly different with its 90s aesthetic. Despite being simplistic, it had some gorgeous subtle standouts like the dress' front and back contrast and sparkly choker. Sure, not the typical style for awards show but if anyone is going to show up to the Golden Globes using their abs as an accessory, it should be Kate Hudson.

Kind of hard to believe this is the same woman who delivered the iconic hit Just Dance, but whatever. Lady Gaga looked old Hollywood glam in her sleek Atelier Versace gown. Gaga is known to make an entrance wherever she goes and although this was more subdued compared to looks she's worn in the past, it still stayed true to her overall style. Diamonds, padded hips, and a hilarious moment with Leonardo DiCaprio - actress Lady Gaga is kind of fun!

That coloring! Olivia Wilde stunned in a shimmery burgundy Michael Kors dress. Wilde's look was complimented by the coloring of her jewels and hair/makeup. Didn't love the low ponytail she was sporting but the burgundy and gold combo looked so great on her that it's easy to forgive, forget, and add this as another one of Olivia's Globe moments.

A lot of the time, actress- designer partnerships can get a little tiring and predictable. Hence why it's been so great to see Dior has been changing it up with the styling for Jennifer Lawrence. J Law's whole young and fun appeal should be showcased in her looks, just like when she first came onto the scene and was wowing us with intricate Louis Vuitton and super gorgeous Calvin Klein looks. Dior hit it right by putting Jen back in her slim fitting red and diverse cutouts. Following the theme of the night with abs and diamonds on display, Lawrence fit her title of the young, talented actress.

No glitter, no problem! Jennifer Lopez ditched her usual shimmer and shine last night for a totally different look. As JLo put it, her Giambattista Valli gown was "mustard yellow/marigold." The color left lots confused but the bright shade looked gorgeous with her complexion. Lopez still added a little of her flashy flare with the silver Jimmy Choo's, dress slit, and dramatic cape. Is there anything she can't do?
